Commissioning Custom Works

ALL COMMISSIONED WORKS ARE CREATED IN CLOSE COLLABORATION WITH THE CLIENT TO ENSURE THE FINAL PIECE REFLECTS THE AGREED CREATIVE DIRECTION AND SPECIFICATIONS.

PROCESS

  1. Initial Enquiry: Clients can begin by submitting a commission enquiry through the contact form or by emailing hello@afsheennasir.com with details such as preferred size, subject, and colour palette.

  2. Consultation & Quote: Once the brief is discussed, Afsheen will provide a written quote outlining the scope, pricing, and estimated timeframe. Any reference images or ideas can be shared at this stage to help guide the creative direction.

  3. Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total agreed price is required to confirm the commission and secure materials and studio time. Work will not begin until the deposit has been received.

  4. REVISIONS: A SMALL NUMBER OF MINOR ADJUSTMENTS (SUCH AS TONAL OR TEXTURAL REFINEMENTS) MAY BE ACCOMMODATED DURING THE PROCESS, AT THE ARTIST’S DISCRETION. MAJOR CHANGES TO THE COMPOSITION, COLOUR PALETTE OR FORMAT ONCE WORK HAS COMMENCED MAY INCUR ADDITIONAL FEES.

  5. Approval & Balance Payment: Once the artwork is complete, Afsheen will share final images for approval. The remaining 50% balance must be paid in full prior to dispatch or collection.

TIMEFRAMES

Commissioned works generally take 4–8 weeks depending on size, complexity, and studio schedule. A more accurate timeline will be provided at the time of booking.

Delivery

DELIVERY OR COLLECTION WILL BE ARRANGED ONCE FINAL PAYMENT HAS CLEARED. All commissioned artworks are shipped from the United Kingdom via tracked and insured courier. Delivery costs are agreed in advance and added to the final invoice. International clients are responsible for any customs duties or taxes charged by their local authorities.

Cancellations & Refunds

As each commission is made to order, deposits are non-refundable. In the event of cancellation after work has commenced, the client remains liable for costs incurred up to that point.

OWNERSHIP & COPYRIGHT

AFSHEEN NASIR RETAINS FULL COPYRIGHT AND REPRODUCTION RIGHTS TO ALL COMMISSIONED WORKS, INCLUDING THE RIGHT TO USE IMAGES FOR PROMOTIONAL PURPOSES. THE CLIENT OWNS THE PHYSICAL ARTWORK ONLY; REPRODUCTION OR COMMERCIAL USE WITHOUT PRIOR WRITTEN CONSENT IS NOT PERMITTED.
